Pride Mic Giveaway – Official Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Ohma World × Sorry Cables Pride Mic Giveaway (the “Giveaway”). By entering, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Sponsor

The Giveaway is sponsored by Ohma World, Inc., a California corporation, with its principal place of business at East Los Angeles, California (“Ohma World”), in partnership with Sorry Cables (“Sponsor”).

2. Giveaway Period

The Giveaway begins at 12:00 AM Pacific Time on July 16, 2025 and ends at 11:59 PM Pacific Time on July 23, 2025 (the “Entry Period”). All entries must be received during the Entry Period to be eligible.

3. Eligibility

  • Open everyone, Worldwide, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

  • Employees, officers and directors of Ohma World, Sorry Cables, their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members and household members of each are not eligible.

  • Void where prohibited by law.

4. How to Enter

There are two ways to enter, both of which must occur during the Entry Period:

  1. Standard Entry

    • Tag two friends on the official Ohma World giveaway post on Instagram.

    • Follow both @ohmaworld and @sorrycables on Instagram.

    • Sign up via the entry form at ohmaworld.com/giveaway and provide your name, email address and Instagram handle.

  2. Bonus Entry

    • Submit a personal story to the “Queer Stories in Audio” archive

    • Stories may be text, photo, or audio

    • Limit one (1) bonus entry per person. While you may submit multiple stories, only your first accepted submission will count as your bonus entry

All required steps must be completed; incomplete or duplicate entries will be disqualified. No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.

5. Prize

One (1) winner will receive:

  • A custom Pride Motif Microphone (winner’s choice of color. ribbon or condenser)

  • A matching Sorry XLR Cable

Prize ships free. All costs and expenses not expressly stated herein are the responsibility of the winner.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

  • On or about July 25, 2025, Sponsor will randomly select one (1) winner from all eligible entries received.

  • Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

  • The potential winner will be notified by direct message on Instagram within two (2) business days following selection and also by email.

  • If the potential winner does not respond within five (5) days of notification, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.

7. Publicity Release

By accepting the prize, each winner grants Sponsor the right to use winner’s name, likeness, entry content, and city and state of residence for advertising and promotional purposes in any media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further notice, review or approval and without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

8. Privacy

By entering, you agree that Sponsor may collect and use your personal information for the purposes of administering the Giveaway and in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at ohmaworld.com/privacy.

9. General Conditions

  • Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway or these Terms and Conditions if any fraud, virus, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.

  • Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, or misdirected entries, or for any technical or online errors.

  • No substitution, assignment, or transfer of any prize or portion thereof is permitted, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is unavailable.

10. Release and Limitations of Liability

By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless Ohma World, Sorry Cables, their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, and Instagram from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use of any prize, including personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property.

11. Disputes; Governing Law

Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Los Angeles County, California; (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages.

12. Instagram Disclaimer

This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. You understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor and not to Instagram. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Giveaway must be directed to Sponsor, not to Instagram.
