Butterfly Microphone Giveaway – Official Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Ohma World × April Kae × SORRY Cables × Gallien-Krueger Butterfly Microphone Giveaway (the “Giveaway”). By entering, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Sponsor

The Giveaway is sponsored by Ohma World 2 Inc. (“Ohma”), in partnership with April Kae, SORRY Cables, and Gallien-Krueger.

2. Giveaway Period

The Giveaway begins at 12:00 AM Pacific Time on June 21, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM Pacific Time on June 30, 2026 (“Entry Period”).

Entries received outside the Entry Period are not eligible.

3. Eligibility

Open worldwide to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Employees, officers, directors, contractors, and immediate family members of the Sponsors, along with anyone living in the same household, are not eligible.

Void where prohibited by law.

4. How to Enter

Complete all of the following during the Entry Period:

  1. Follow @aprilkae, @ohmaworld, @sorrycables, and @gallienkrueger on Instagram.
  2. Tag two friends in the comments of the official giveaway Instagram post.
  3. Complete the entry form at ohmaworld.com/giveaway, including your name, email address, and Instagram username.

Bonus Entry

Receive one (1) additional entry by submitting your story to the Queer Stories in Audio Archive.

Stories may be submitted as written, audio, photo, or video, subject to the archive's submission guidelines.

Only the first accepted submission will count toward the bonus entry.

Incomplete entries or failure to complete all required steps may result in disqualification.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Making a purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

5. Prize

One (1) winner will receive:

  • One limited edition April Kae Butterfly Ohma Condenser Microphone in shimmering pink and purple
  • One matching Butterfly Pop Filter
  • One blue SORRY Cables XLR Cable
  • One Gallien-Krueger PLEX Preamp

Five Butterfly microphones will be available for sale. The giveaway winner will receive a separate sixth Butterfly microphone made exclusively for this Giveaway.

The prize ships free, signature required. Any taxes, duties, customs fees, or other expenses not specifically included are the sole responsibility of the winner.

The prize is non-transferable and has no cash value.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.

The winner will be announced on or about July 3, 2026.

The potential winner will be contacted via the email address provided on the entry form and/or Instagram direct message.

If the selected winner does not respond within five (5) days, the Sponsors reserve the right to select an alternate winner.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, by accepting the prize, the winner grants the Sponsors permission to use their name, likeness, city/state or country, and any submitted content for promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes in any media without additional compensation.

8. Privacy

Information collected through the Giveaway will be used solely for administering the Giveaway and in accordance with Ohma World's Privacy Policy.

9. General Conditions

Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond their reasonable control compromises the integrity of the Giveaway.

Sponsors are not responsible for lost, delayed, incomplete, misdirected, or corrupted entries, technical failures, internet outages, or other errors beyond their control.

If the advertised prize becomes unavailable, Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

10. Release of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Ohma World, April Kae, SORRY Cables, Gallien-Krueger, Instagram, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims arising out of participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

11. Governing Law

Except where prohibited, all disputes relating to this Giveaway shall be governed by the laws of the State of California and resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

Entrants waive any right to participate in a class action and agree that damages, if any, shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket expenses.

12. Instagram Disclaimer

This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.

All information provided is submitted to the Sponsors and not to Instagram.
