This policy explains what personal information Ohma World 2 Inc. ("Ohma World," "we") collects when you use ohmaworld.com, buy from us, or contact us, and what we do with it.
What we collect
Information you give us:
- Your name, email, phone number, and shipping and billing addresses.
- Order details.
- Messages you send us.
- Mic builds you save.
- Artwork you send for custom logos.
- Demo requests.
- Warranty registrations, including your mic's serial number.
Payment information: Payments are handled by our payment processors and by Affirm if you pay over time. We don't store your full card number.
Information collected automatically:
- Your device, browser and IP address.
- The pages you visit and how you use the site.
- Cookies and similar technologies.
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the site, which can include recordings of clicks and scrolling on our pages.
How we use it
- To take, build, ship and support your order, including warranty service and demos.
- To answer your questions.
- To send emails or texts you've signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To show you our ads on other sites and social media, and to measure how they perform.
- To improve our site and products.
- To prevent fraud.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the business:
- Shopify: store and checkout.
- Payment processors and Affirm: payments and financing.
- ShipStation, FedEx and other carriers: shipping.
- Omnisend: email and SMS.
- HubSpot and Zapier: customer support and our demo program.
- QuickBooks: accounting.
- Microsoft Clarity: site analytics.
- ZipChat: site chat.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google: advertising and measurement. Their pixels and tags on our site record things like pages viewed and purchases, so we can show our ads to people who may be interested and see which ads work.
We may also share information when the law requires it, or as part of a sale or merger of the business.
We don't sell your personal information for money. Our Meta and Google advertising pixels count as "sharing" for ads under California law. You can opt out on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page (ohmaworld.com/pages/ccpa-opt-out) or through the cookie banner.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you.
- Give you a copy of it.
- Correct it.
- Delete it.
- Stop selling or sharing it.
California residents have these rights under the CCPA and CPRA. People in the EU and UK have similar rights under the GDPR. To make a request, email info@ohmaworld.com. We may need to verify your identity first, and you can have an authorized agent ask for you. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as we need it to fill orders, provide warranty service (up to 2 years or more after purchase), and meet legal and tax requirements. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure.
Where it's stored
We're based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored there.
Children
Our site isn't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
